Bowl HB 550E

The bowl with the model number “550E” by Hedwig Bollhagen is not only known as the mixing bowl among the staff at the ceramics factory in Marwitz, but it is also the larger version of the smaller 550D. Its distinctive features include the bulbous, conical body that flares outward and the narrow, cylindrical rim. With a height of 14 centimeters and a width of 36.5 centimeters, the mixing bowl is about three times as wide as it is tall. And with a capacity of seven liters, this mixing bowl is already one of the largest in Hedwig Bollhagen’s ceramic collection. One thing is certain: whether used as a mixing bowl, salad bowl, or serving bowl, thanks to its practical shape and sturdy ceramic construction, the 550E is a frequently used kitchen helper.
