The bread pots from Hedwig Bollhagen are a truly original kitchen accessory. They are not only stylish and attractive but also extremely practical. Conventional bread storage containers often have some drawback, whether due to the material or the craftsmanship. If bread is not stored properly, it either dries out or becomes damp and molds. Two small openings at the bottom regulate the airflow and guarantee long-lasting freshness. In our HB ceramic workshops in Marwitz near Berlin, we have been producing our ceramics for over 80 years. Bread pans for good taste

Bread pans have gone somewhat out of fashion. This is incomprehensible, as there is actually no better way to store your bread or pastries. With a bread pot, you not only demonstrate original taste and a sense for stylish home accessories. Bread pots are also simply incredibly practical. Both bread boxes and bread bags have their shortcomings. Bread dries out very quickly. Or it gets damp and goes moldy. None of this happens so quickly with a classic earthenware bread pot. The handmade bread pots from the HB ceramic workshops ensure that your bread always stays nice and fresh.

The advantages of bread pots

The ceramic bread pots from Hedwig Bollhagen have clear advantages over conventional containers, which are often made of wood. Wood absorbs moisture easily. And plastic containers tend to sweat in high heat. Not so our bread pots. Two small openings at the bottom regulate the necessary supply of fresh air so that the sourdough stays fresh for a long time. Apart from the practical component, HB bread pans are above all decorative. Whether on the dining table or on the shelf, the bread pans stand out. Bread pots have been produced in our ceramic manufactory in Marwitz for decades using traditional methods. Fascinating unique pieces are lovingly handcrafted here. They have a classic oval shape and a lid including a garnished knob. The decorations are very classic in design. Plain or decorated with clear lines, dots or motifs.
