Platter HB 540

The plate designed by Hedwig Bollhagen, model number “540,” is also known as the “Cabaret Tray” by the staff at the Marwitz Ceramics Manufactory. Its rectangular shape is a defining feature. Measuring 34 centimeters long and 16 centimeters wide, the 2.5-centimeter-high Cabaret Tray is perfect for any sponge cake. But the 900-gram Cabaret Tray also cuts a fine figure as a bread plate, roast platter, serving platter, or ceramic base for a gift basket. And in a three-piece set, the rectangular tray can also be combined with the square, 16-by-16-centimeter bowls (model number 493), in which tapas and other small dishes can be served in style.
