Hedwig Bollhagen’s classic milk jug, model number “551A,” captivates with its harmonious retro design and clean lines. Typical of this sturdy pitcher, made of lightweight 190-gram ceramic, is its cylindrical body, which widens into a charmingly curved rim with a small, drip-proof spout. The wide, slightly concave handle ensures that the ceramic pitcher—9 centimeters high and wide—sits securely in the hand. With a capacity of 330 ml, the medium-sized 551A pitcher is ideal not only for stylishly serving milk, cream, or sauces. The handmade 551A milk jug is the slightly smaller version of the equally elegant 551B and 551C pitchers and complements any tableware collection in an appealing way.
