The teapot with the model number “588” allows lovers of the refined tea ceremony to savor their brewed beverage with all their senses. While not particularly heavy (580 grams), the Teapot 588 is certainly one of Hedwig Bollhagen’s larger designs, thanks to its dimensions (20.5 centimeters wide and 16 centimeters tall) and, above all, its capacity of no less than 1.2 liters. The defining feature is the wide, slightly conical body with a neck that tapers upward and a rim that curves slightly outward. The simple, pencil-shaped handle on the flat lid, the ear-shaped handle, and the raised spout with its drip-proof spout tip harmoniously round out the design.
