This timelessly simple cookie jar shaped the everyday design of the former GDR—and is now being rediscovered by design enthusiasts. Characteristic of the two-piece set consisting of a container and a lid are the rectangular body with the flat lid and the attached, mushroom-shaped knob. 13 centimeters long, 10 centimeters wide, 16 centimeters high—it’s not just its dimensions that place this 750-gram cookie jar in the top league. Above all, with a capacity of no less than one liter, the 870 cookie jar ranks among the very largest in the range.
