The jar by Hedwig Bollhagen with the shape number "863" must probably rather be described as a small box. Characteristic for the two-piece set of vessel and closure are the straight cylindrical body and the flat, round lid. The artist has dispensed with a handle or grips on the ceramic box. With a diameter of five centimeters and a height of three centimeters, this little box, weighing only 70 grams, is one of the smallest and certainly one of the finest in Hedwig Bollhagen's assortment. Whether tablets, pills or globules, this practical tin is the perfect storage place for everyday medicine.
