Form 605650 - Jar 565
The jar with the mold number “565” by Hedwig Bollhagen is also known as the “honey pot” among the staff at the Marwitz Ceramics Manufactory. Its distinctive features include the slightly conical body and the molded, semicircular handle. The lid, which curves upward in a spherical shape and features a pin-shaped handle, harmoniously completes the design. Thanks to the small, semicircular opening—about one centimeter in diameter—at the edge of the lid, the honey spoon has a secure place to rest. With a width of eight and a height of eleven centimeters, the jar is almost as tall as it is wide. With a capacity of 0.15 liters, it elegantly, practically, and sustainably presents a generous amount of acacia honey, forest honey, or sweet chestnut honey.
