The tureen with the shape number 549E by Hedwig Bollhagen impresses with its timeless, functional shape. With a height of 19 centimeters and a width of 19.5 centimeters, the tureen is almost as high as it is wide. And with a capacity of three liters, this tureen is probably already one of Hedwig Bollhagen's larger ceramics. Characteristic of the two-piece set of vessel and lid are the bulbously shaped body, which opens upwards in a cylindrical shape, and the mushroom-shaped, hinged knob on the flat lid. An approximately one centimeter small, semicircular opening on the edge of the lid makes it possible to leave the soup ladle cleanly in the tureen. However, the lid is also available without an opening upon request.
