Hedwig Bollhagen’s plate, model number “1065,” is actually more of a tray given its size. With a diameter of 33 centimeters, this plate—weighing 1.28 kilograms and standing two centimeters tall—is certainly one of the largest in the collection. And like most of Hedwig Bollhagen’s ceramics, her rustic tray works beautifully in more than one interior design scheme. Whether as a serving tray for breakfast in bed, displaying vases on the porch, or arranging perfume bottles on the bathroom console—there are no limits to the creativity in the flexible use of this round tray. Practical and beautiful don’t have to be a contradiction. The 1065 tray combines both.
