Varius 1 color pink glaze translucent
The natural structure of the ceramic is particularly important in the Varius collection. The form is accentuated by a black engobe applied by hand to the still raw body. A colored transparent glaze gives the ceramic an extraordinary depth of decoration in the second firing. The originally black engobed surfaces take on the deepest color tone in the scale of the glaze and form the character and personality of each individual piece. Due to the large number of shape and color variants, the ceramics of the Varius collection can be excellently combined and give the laid table a balanced picture in the colors of summer.
