Hedwig Bollhagen’s large milk jug, model number “551C,” captivates with its harmonious retro design and clean lines. Typical of this sturdy pitcher, made of lightweight 380-gram ceramic, is its cylindrical body, which flares out into a charmingly curved rim with a small, drip-proof spout. The wide, slightly concave handle ensures that the ceramic pitcher—11.5 centimeters tall and 12 centimeters wide—sits securely in the hand. With a generous capacity of 800 ml, the nostalgic 551A pitcher is ideal not only for stylishly serving milk, cream, or sauces. The handmade 551B milk jug is the larger version of the equally elegant 551A and 551B pitchers and complements any tableware set in an appealing way.
