The pieces pass through the hands of our ceramic specialists up to 60 times. Each decor is individually painted by hand, making each ceramic unique. Nie mehr Brandflecken auf dem Mahagonitisch! Die Untersetzer aus Keramik von Hedwig Bollhagen können ganz schön was ab. Die hitzeresistenten Platten schützen empfindliches Holz vorm heißen Topf aus dem Ofen, verhindern Wachsflecken unterm Kerzenständer, beugen Eindruckstellen unter schweren Vasen vor und schützen den Perserteppich vor auslaufendem Wasser. Die handgemachten und bemalten Untersetzer findet man ebenso auf dem üppig gedeckten Gartentisch der Finca wie auf dem Schreibtisch neben dem Monitor. Eins ist sicher, mit den Untersetzern aus Keramik von Hedwig Bollhagen haben Sie immer ein ebenso praktisches wie dekoratives Wohnaccessoire zur Hand. In der Keramik-Manufaktur im brandenburgischen Marwitz bei Berlin schuf Hedwig Bollhagen von der Gründung 1934 bis zur ihrem Tode 2001 neben ihren Servicen und „Pötten“ auch zahlreiche Wohnaccessoires wie Untersetzer und Unterleger. Einzigartig ist die traditionelle Herstellung: Die „Unikate in Serie“, so das Motto, werden bis heute nach Hedwig Bollhagens Vorgaben von Hand gemacht und bemalt. Gießen, Putzen, Brennen, Glasieren, Malen: Bis zu 60 Arbeitsgänge sind notwendig, bevor die Untersetzer zum Schutz auf die Möbel gelegt werden können.
