Serving dishes for a tasteful ambience
As is well known, the eye eats with you. Our grandmothers and great-grandmothers already knew this old saying, which is why every old crockery service also includes serving platters and serving plates. Star chefs believe in the old wisdom and attach particular importance to the presentation and the exclusive arrangement of their dishes. With the handmade and individually painted ceramics by Hedwig Bollhagen, you too can serve your food tastefully and make every meal something special.
Even science has been able to prove in various studies that the visual appearance and the way the food is presented play a decisive role in the sense of taste. You too can influence the taste buds of your guests by serving high-quality dishes in an appealing way. All elements of our serving dishes are individually made and hand painted. Each piece is unique. The pieces are not only versatile, but above all magnificent furnishings that adorn any room. This applies to all ceramics that we have been producing in our manufactory in Marwitz, Brandenburg, since 1934.
Serving ware is an essential accessory
For every stylish menu or elegant feast. Cake stands, bowls and bowls are ideal for serving small appetizers or hors d'oeuvres, while soups, side dishes, sauces or salads are best presented in bowls or soup plates. You can use a suitable cake stand for pastries and other finger food.
With serving platters, for example, you can present your main meal so beautifully that it leaves a lasting impression on your guests. Also, you can use trays to put together different little things or glasses and offer them to your guests at once. This not only saves time, but also several trips to the kitchen.
All of our ceramics are made in the traditional way in our ceramic factory in Marwitz. As has been the custom at Hedwig Bollhagen since 1934. The ceramic production by HB, Made in Germany, stands for the perfect symbiosis of everyday objects and artistic design. And you can admire many of our design classics in museums and collections all over the world.
