Buttercups - handmade in the HB-Werkstätten für Keramik
The butter dish was designed by Hedwig Bollhagen, the most important ceramist of the 20th century, in 1937 and presented for the first time at the fair in 1938. Since then, our butter dishes are elaborately made by hand in Marwitz near Berlin. Each HB butter dish is therefore unique.
Choose from two sizes: the 497B butter dish is for half a pound of butter and the 497A is for half a piece of butter (125g).
The beautiful decors of the Fayence, Varius and Ritz collections are very well combined with many other products in the tableware, vases, and decoration, collections.
